Merca Alberto was born in Madrid, Spain, on December 4, 2006. Shortly after his birth, he moved with his parents to Oradea, Romania, where they lived for the next two years. His parents are Romanian. His father worked in construction while also pursuing business opportunities, including investing in land and other assets.After two years in Romania, Alberto and his parents moved to Antwerp, Belgium, where he would spend most of his childhood and teenage years.At home, his parents spoke Romanian with him from birth. Over time, Alberto also learned four additional languages through his education and life in Belgium.
He studied in Belgium and lived there with his parents for approximately 16–17 years. During his teenage years, he attended a professional school and worked various part-time jobs. At the early age of 17, he decided to leave school and begin his entrepreneurial journey.

Merca Alberto began his entrepreneurial journey in 2022, at around 16 years old, while still in high school. In 2024, he became officially certified as an entrepreneur.After leaving school at the age of 17, Alberto decided to fully commit to entrepreneurship. He initially entered the e-commerce industry through dropshipping, selling skincare products for women. Although the venture was short-lived, it marked the beginning of his journey into business.In late 2023, he founded Merca Media, his marketing agency, which he continues to manage today. Through the agency, he began working with e-commerce brands, focusing on performance marketing and delivering measurable results through high-converting advertising campaigns.Along the way, Alberto launched multiple projects and, following an interest in real estate influenced by his father, began investing in land assets in Romania. He has since expanded his activities into real estate and property management, operating in the sector since 2025.His ventures include Merca Residence, a travel property management company, and Merca Flights, a luxury travel venture focused on collaborations with luxury villas and private jet providers. Through Merca Flights, he works with a network covering more than 2,000 private jets across Europe, with plans to manage more than 100 luxury villas by 2028.Looking ahead, Merca Alberto plans to begin construction of his first residence in Oradea, Romania, in 2027. His long-term vision is to expand further into real estate and establish strong foundations for his businesses and investments over the coming decade.
